Sophie Chapman Talent represents Comedians, Actors, Writers, Presenters, Authors, Podcasters and Directors.
We are looking for an Agent’s Assistant to join our small team.
A minimum of 1 year’s agency (or production company) experience is needed as our part of the industry moves at a fast pace.
The role requires:
Ability to pitch clients appropriately for a variety of opportunities
Good organisation and strong administrative experience
Diary management skills – both for clients and for our internal team. Booking meetings, organising travel, liaising with production companies and scheduling work commitments.
Attending live comedy shows, TV recordings, and events with clients and with industry guests several times a week
Interest in Comedy as well as the Entertainment Industry more generally
Ideally a working knowledge of Tagmin, Spotlight and IMDB Pro as well as the ability to edit basic clips and showreel
The day to day role involves:
Proactively seeking out work for our clients.
Handling inbound opportunities across the various areas in which our clients work.
Negotiating fees and contracts for our clients.
Handling client payments from invoice to receipt of funds into the Agency
Updating Client biogs, CVs and the company website
For candidates with more experience, we would consider an Associate role.
