Curtis Brown is one of the world’s leading literary and talent agencies, representing actors, presenters, authors, playwrights, film and television writers and directors and theatre directors.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced assistant to support and work alongside an Agent in our Theatre, Film and Television (TFTV) department, representing writers and directors and handling literary material for the screen. Joe is also Co-Head of the TFTV Department at Curtis Brown and plays a role in the senior management team. This role centres around delivering excellent client care and systems administration and supporting the development of the Agent’s Office.
Promotion of the clients’ work, seeking out new opportunities for them both here in the UK and internationally, and safeguarding their interests is at the heart of what an agent does, so the successful candidate will need to quickly gain a comprehensive knowledge of each of the client’s work and each client’s specific individual requirements. An important part of this job involves building relationships both with the clients and within the wider industry.
We are looking for someone with an authentic passion for and interest in film, theatre and television and the industry that surrounds it. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a Literary or Talent Agency, or in television, or film development. Please note this is not an entry-level role.
