Experienced Assistant to Actors' Agent / Managing Partner

A leading entertainment Agency is looking to recruit an Experienced Agents’ Assistant to proactively support the Managing Partner in the busy day to day running of the business.

Due to the nature of the role we welcome only applicants who have at least 2 years experience of working as an Agent’s Assistant.

This is an opportunity for the right candidate to build a career within one of the country’s leading entertainment agencies.

Working for the Managing Partner and his team the role would ideally be suited to someone who has proven previous experience of working as an assistant in an Agency environment representing high profile clients, is ambitious, has a keen interest in theatre, film and television and wants to build a career in talent management.

You will be working as part of a small team to manage the careers of a portfolio of high-profile talent and this is an integral role in helping to maintain the exacting standards within the team.

You’ll need to be willing to get stuck in, a real team player with a relaxed yet professional approach who enjoys working in a collaborative, creative environment.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

Discretion and confidentiality essential.

Excellent organisational ability, able to multi-task and
prioritise accordingly.

Strong communicator and relationship builder with great people skills and a confident and articulate telephone manner, handling calls and taking detailed messages.

Script reading and providing breakdowns.

Liaising with clients:
o Acquiring a solid knowledge of the high profile client base and their work to date, as well as forthcoming projects
o Confirming appointments
o Sharing and discussing scripts
o Handling availability checks and queries
o Contract notes and support

Full administrative support, invoicing and diary management.

Handling charity/fan mail requests and responding to basic invitations.

Updating client CVs, agency website and social channels.

Editing all showreels and self-tapes ready for submission.

Developing a strong understanding of the Agency Relationship Database – Tagmin.

Keeping it accurate and current with project information and all-things client related.

Confident with social media platforms (including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter) and their best practices.

About You…
• Proven excellent organisation and administration skills with forensic attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of theatre, film and television
• The ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential issues in a professional manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people at all levels.
• A positive attitude with plenty of energy and enthusiasm.
• Proven ability of working autonomously and cooperatively on group tasks and proactivity when required.
• Proactive and forward thinking; able to use own initiative, plan and work to tight deadlines.
• Managing and prioritising your work under pressure with conflicting demands from several agents; and to work in a target and deadline driven environment.
• English language fluency with impeccable spelling and grammar.
• Proficient with Outlook, Google, and Apple calendar applications.
• Thrive when working in a team.

Location: Soho, London.
Hours: 10:00 – 18:00
Start Date: Start date as soon as possible but ideally no later than July.
