Do you love working in with creative people, have excellent communication skills and are you passionate about Film and TV? Echo is recruiting a new Agent to join the expanding Film & TV Department.

We are looking for someone who is pro-active, organised and a great communicator who can tune-in to the direction each client wants to take with their career. You will need to have the confidence to push for what you think is right when negotiating deals, have great attention to detail and love reading scripts; it is a fast-paced role with access to a plethora of developing film & TV projects at all levels.
There will also be opportunity to attend various film festivals such as Cannes, Camerimage, London Film Festival as well as access to client work and film screenings.
The right candidate will have existing experience within the film and television industry and will be looking for a new opportunity where they can build lasting relationships within a passionate and friendly team and a brilliant client base.
You could be someone who has worked in the industry at a Film Festival, or a film critic, or in another agency but in a different department. You could be an experienced Production Assistant/Production Manager looking for a new challenge and the chance to grow within a young and exciting Agency.

Echo Artists is a dynamic talent agency representing Production Designers, Directors of Photography, Costume Designers, Editors and Hair and Make-Up Designers in Film, Television, Commercials and Music Videos. Responsibilities will include:
• Submitting clients for feature films, documentaries, television programmes
• Negotiating client deals
• Finding new talent
• Communicating and keeping in touch with clients regularly and being responsible and active in client’s career strategies
• Communicating and setting up meetings with Producers and Production Companies regularly to make sure the Company and the clients are aware of what projects are happening and have happened.
• Reading scripts and making decisions about whether the project would be good for the client’s career
• Curating careers
• Watching client work and keeping up to date with the industry output
• Being current on projects in development
• Attending film festivals and awards nights
• Administration to action all of the above, with support from the film assistant team and other agents.

Further Details about the position:
• This is predominantly an office-based role located in the De Beauvior Block, Dalston.
• Hours are be 9:30 AM to 6 PM with 1 hour lunch break, however there will be times where hours may vary due to screening, as well as very occasional weekend work during festivals.
• Experience of Macs is preferable along with Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Salary open to negotiation
• Some international travel to film festivals may be required (Cannes, Camerimage)
• Equal team profit share based on company performance after first financial year at echo
• 5 weeks of holiday plus public holidays. The office also closes over Christmas.

• To start as soon as possible
