The position is to provide direct support and administrative duties to the Head of Book to Film/Literary Agent who represents mainly screenwriters, playwrights and book to film rights within an established Literary Department.
The applicant must have a minimum of 2 years experience in an Agency environment and must have a love of reading, film, TV and theatre.
It is beneficial to have had some training in reading and negotiating film and TV contracts (both screen rights and screenwriting).
The main requirement for this role.
⢠Provide administrative support including invoicing, payment processing, contract generating and chasing, data-input, diary-organisation
⢠Book fair preparation, liaison with writers, publishing agents, publishers and producers, and answering phones.
⢠Good general office skills
⢠Ability to efficiently review screenplays, books, podcasts, plays, articles and other content for film and TV potential
⢠Preparing submission letters
⢠Marketing experience, creating mailouts, newsletters, posting and interacting on social media
⢠A working knowledge of Tagmin (although training can be provided)
⢠Invoicing and liaising with accounts
⢠Liaising with clients on behalf of the Agent
⢠Admin and filing duties, including but not limited to sending contracts, booking details, managing invoices, chasing payments, coordinating between client, extensive diary management, updating website and databases, administering monthly expenses

Soft Skills:
The position requires a high level of patience, initiative, good communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent organizational skills, a strong sense of urgency, along with the ability to multitask, whilst maintaining meticulous excellent attention to detail.
