Senior Assistant to Actors Agent

Actors Department | London WC2 | Full-Time, Office Based

An opportunity has arisen to join one of the entertainment industry’s leading talent agencies, supporting one of the senior agents within a busy Actors Department representing acting talent across film, television and theatre at every level of the industry.

We’re looking for someone with at least two years’ experience who is highly organised, proactive and calm under pressure, with a genuine understanding and passion for actors and the entertainment industry. A strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.

This role is ideal for someone excited by the challenge of working within a high-level agency team, to become an integral part of a dynamic team, providing exceptional administrative and client support while working closely with talent, casting directors, producers and other industry professionals. To play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of a busy agent’s office, while helping promote a diverse list of acting talent and being involved in developing their careers.

This is a busy and demanding office with a varied workload and changing pace, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys being kept on their toes and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, and has demonstrable experience of working independently when required.

You’ll primarily be based at our London office, Monday to Friday, with the expectation of occasional evening and weekend events and industry functions.

 

Duties will include:

  • Liaising with clients, casting directors, producers and industry professionals
  • Reading and breaking down scripts
  • Organising meetings and managing client diaries
  • Attending industry events as required
  • Tracking contracts and client paperwork
  • Updating CVs, biographies and client materials
  • Editing showreels, clips and self-tapes
  • Creating mail-outs and social media content
  • Maintaining accurate records across internal systems including Tagmin
  • Managing office administration, greeting visitors and supporting the wider team
  • Developing knowledge of key casting directors, production companies and industry contacts
  • Administrative responsibilities

 The ideal candidate will be

  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
  • A confident communicator with an articulate phone manner
  • Calm, adaptable and able to prioritise under pressure
  • Proactive, resourceful and able to anticipate needs
  • Collaborative with a positive, team-focused attitude
  • Tech-savvy and confident using social media and creative platforms

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Agents Assistant
  • Have a strong knowledge of key casting directors, production companies and industry contacts
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-changing environment
  • Experience with Canva, Vimeo, video editing and social platforms advantageous
  • Knowledge of Tagmin helpful but not required

 

This is not an entry-level position. 

There is scope for career progression. 

Salary: Dependent on experience
