The Artists Partnership (TAP), a division of The Partnership Group, is seeking an outstanding Talent Assistant to work closely with the CEO and his team. TAP represents a world-class roster of actors working across film, television and theatre and is recognised for its carefully curated approach to building long-term careers.
This is a fast-paced role at the centre of the agency, offering broad exposure to all aspects of talent representation. The role is suited to candidates who demonstrate the judgement, instinct, discretion and ambition to develop in this role. The successful candidate will be working closely with senior decision-makers and in time, be considered for increased responsibility and progression based on performance.
Candidates should have experience within a talent agency along with a working knowledge and interest of the British entertainment industry: production companies, broadcasters, streamers and theatre. They should be familiar with the wider network of executives, producers and casting directors, and have a developing understanding of the current talent landscape. A working knowledge of operating platforms including Spotlight and Tagmin is expected, alongside an appreciation of the professional standards required in a client-facing environment.
The role involves direct and regular contact with clients, supporting the day-to-day management of their professional lives and assisting the CEO in his work. This includes coordinating auditions, availabilities and bookings, liaising closely with casting offices and production, maintaining client materials and profiles, and ensuring that all logistical aspects of a client’s work are handled with efficiency, accuracy and care. It also requires a high level of organisation including managing schedules and maintaining and updating the agency’s CRM system.
Alongside these responsibilities, the role demands a passion for the creative side of the business. This includes frequently reading and summarising scripts, attending theatre and industry events, tracking developing projects and opportunities, and contributing thoughtfully to discussions around clients’ careers.
We are looking for candidates with strong communication skills, are perceptive and deeply engaged with film, television and theatre. They should be highly organised, attentive to detail and capable of working calmly under pressure. Discretion and professionalism are essential, as is the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement in a fast-moving environment. They must be collaborative and motivated to building a long-term career in talent representation.
