Talent Associate (to Managing Director)

Posted June 26th 2026

Location: Soho, London Position Type: Full-time, Fixed-Term Contract (with strong potential to extend to a permanent role)

About the Role

This is not an entry-level assistant position. We are looking for an experienced, highly autonomous Talent Associate to work directly alongside our Managing Director in our Soho office.

This role is the perfect next step for an ambitious Senior Assistant or established Associate looking for genuine responsibility. You will play a key part in the day-to-day running of a busy, high-profile client list—with the confidence to make independent decisions and run the office when the Managing Director is away—whilst simultaneously taking full creative and administrative control over a small, select client list of your own.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Agency Experience: A minimum of 2–3 years of direct talent agency experience, with a proven track record of securing work for actors across Film, TV, and Theatre.
  • Industry Knowledge: Practical, working knowledge of PACT/Equity contracts, union guidelines, and standard UK industry terms.
  • Casting Networks: Established relationships with UK Casting Directors and a demonstrable history of handling negotiations independently.
  • Software Proficiency: Complete confidence using Tagmin and Spotlight within a Mac office.
  • Attributes: Exceptional time-management, the ability to balance instructions from a senior agent with your own initiative, and a calm, collaborative approach under pressure.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Client List Management: Associate management of the Managing Director’s established book, alongside the independent management and career guidance of your own select list of clients.
  • Negotiations & Contracts: Handling deal terms, reviewing bookings, and administering PACT/Equity contracts with confidence.
  • Industry Liaison: Pitching clients, tracking upcoming projects, and confidently liaising with casting directors, producers, and production companies.
  • Submissions & Creative Feedback: Overseeing project submissions, viewing self-tapes, and providing constructive feedback to clients.
  • Office Coverage: Acting as the primary point of contact for the office, making independent logistical decisions when the Managing Director is traveling or in meetings.
  • Administration: Managing diaries, coordinating self-tape requests, client invoicing, and keeping client materials (Spotlight, showreels, etc.) fully up to date.
  • Industry Presence: Attending showcases, theatre productions, and industry events to scout new talent and represent the agency.

Please send a short cover letter and a copy of your CV to: vacancies@iagtalent.com

This full-time role, commencing late July, will be based in our Soho office.

Please only apply if you have the experience working within a talent agency. Due to the nature of the role and the responsibility, applicants without relevant agency experience will not be considered.
