PA to Senior Talent Agent

Our Scottish office has a full time position available for an individual with fantastic organisational skills and a passion for the Industry. MUST BE BASED IN GLASGOW. Mac skills, a knowledge of Spotlight and Tagmin would be very desirable. A background in Stage, Screen or Management would be useful but not essential. Motivated, energetic with an ambition to pursue a long career in Talent Management would be ideal. This is a superb opportunity for the right candidate. Talent Agents’ Assistant

We are looking for a full time Assistant to work with the agents in our theatrical and commercial departments. This position would be ideal for someone who wants to start their career in talent management with a view to progressing within the Company.
We are looking for a good team player who is very well organised; has experience with Tagmin and knowledge of Spotlight; has the ability to multi task and prioritise; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to deal with our social media management and proven computer skills (including video editing/sending self tapes) are all essential to this role. Our Company philosophy is to nurture our Clients and to maximise their potential in every way.
The perfect applicant will have a love of the industry, a desire to work hard and be able to learn on the job. Occasional evenings out at the theatre would also be part of this role within our dynamic team. Start date ASAP.

INTERN (12 Weeks)

INTERNSHIP AT SAINOU
We’re looking for our next intern (12 weeks) to start early/ mid September. This is a paid internship and the hours are 10am-6pm, Monday to Friday (with an hour for lunch).
Experience is not necessary but strong admin skills, an impeccable eye for detail and a genuine interest in the industry are all essential. You should be driven, enthusiastic and be able to hit the ground running, liaising between all agents and assistants while maintaining the smooth running of the office.
We have a history of going on to employ interns in a full-time capacity, so please only apply if you have a genuine interest in progressing in this particular side of the industry. We’re looking to build a longer-term relationship with the right candidate.
You must have the right to work in the UK and be over 18 years old. Additionally you will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Assistant – Theatre, Film and TV (TFTV) Department

We’re looking for an assistant to join our Theatre, Film and TV Department. This role works across three busy offices helping agents and assistants to ensure the smooth running of those offices through effective organisation and exceptional client care.
This role will suit someone with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. They must have the ability to prioritise, multitask and work under pressure with interruptions. The successful candidate will be a proactive and confident team-player who can use their initiative. They will have a good knowledge of and demonstrable passion for the broader film, TV and theatre landscape. This role allows a unique overview of clients from new talent to established writers, directors and producers.

Temps

We’re currently looking for experienced Temps to work across the company, in particular our Actors Department. The successful candidates will have:
• Experience of working in a talent agency (particularly working in an Actors department), casting or production
• An excellent working knowledge of film, television and theatre
• A knowledge of existing Casting Directors
• Understand the nuances of working directly with Talent. Consequently, we’re actively looking at candidates who have experience of client facing work
• Be computer literate and technically minded, together with a good knowledge of standard software packages
• Be able to work quickly and accurately
• Have a can-do attitude, enjoy being part of a team and able to think on their feet
• An ability to multi-task and prioritise workload efficiently and effectively
As many of our permanent members of staff originally started as temps we’re keen to develop on-going relationships and would be interested in hearing from those who perhaps are unable to Temp at present but may be interested in doing so in the future.

Agency Assistant / Office Manager

KBJ Management are looking for an Agency Assistant/Office Manager to support their small and dynamic team, looking after some of Britain’s leading broadcasters. Based in Fitzrovia, central London, the job will involve assisting the Directors and Agents in the day-to-day running of the office, as well as providing both finance-related and general administrative support and stepping in to cover agents’ duties when required.
We are looking for someone with a passion and enthusiasm for the TV industry, in particular the area our clients work in, and an interest in working in talent management. Previous TV production experience a bonus.
Efficiency, reliability and attention to detail are key qualities we are looking for. You will need to be highly organised and have excellent communication and written skills. You should also have energy and a can-do attitude!
You will liaise with KBJ’s clients, arranging transport and responding to charity requests and event invitations, as well as organising logistics with production teams, and updating KBJ’s website and social media feeds.
You will also be responsible for managing everyday company finances, including invoicing, client payments and petty cash. A good working knowledge of SAGE 50 Accounts is desirable, or a willingness to learn.

Assistant for week of August 13th

We are looking for an agent’s assistant to cover 16-18 hours on the week beginning August 13th. Must have experience using Tagmin and Spotlight and should have an excellent phone manner. Please don’t apply unless you meet these criteria. Would suit someone looking to gain more experience.

Assistant to Presenters’ Agent

We are looking for an assistant to support the office of Presenters’ Agent Meryl Hoffman. We need someone confident, friendly and engaging with excellent communication skills. We expect you to be highly motivated with a strong work ethic – and stamina, you’ll be expected to work some additional hours, e.g. studio recordings and some evening events. You must have previous experience of working in an office and it would be useful, but not essential, if you have previous experience of working in the creative industry, for example a talent or casting agency, PR, or a marketing/advertising agency. An interest in social media and emerging digital platforms is also very desirable.
You should have a confident telephone manner as you’ll be speaking to clients and industry professionals on a regular basis. We need an assistant who is scrupulous about detail and who can help set up and maintain systems to help Meryl’s busy office run smoothly. We need someone who also enjoys the challenge of research and is able to multi-task with these projects whilst juggling daily logistical duties.
You’ll need to be able to stay calm and in control when working under pressure and you should also be a diplomat – able to use your tact and discretion at all times.
