PMA “Stalker” Event – Fixated Risk Management

Hello D&D Agents
A diary reminder and a little more information about next week’s event which will take place on Wednesday October 26th from 1pm – 2.30pm at St Annes, 55 Dean Street.
This is a single item event – not our usual catch up meeting. The purpose is to give agents a firmer basis on which to take decisions on behalf of their clients when they are in receipt of intrusive, threatening or otherwise worrying communications.
I’ve spoken with Phillip and Andrew from Theseus Risk Management (http://www.theseusllp.com/about-us/) and they have put together a briefing for PMA Members (Artists’ and D&D) on “Recognising Communicated Risk”.
They will cover:
• what motivates and drives individuals to pursue public-figure talent in a problematic way
• introduce a simple, evidence-based screening tool with which to prioritise such communcations
• the key indicators to look for, with some case examples.
There will be opportunities to ask questions and to discuss management issues. If members want to raise cases that are concerning them they should feel free to do so. All discussion will be treated confidentially.
All members are welcome. No need to RSVP – though thank you to those who have done so.
Hope this will be of interest – and if so, see you there.
All best,
CC
