Assistant to Actors Agent

We are currently looking for a full-time assistant to join one of our senior agents in our thriving Actors Department. You will be supporting an actors agent in a very hands-on, managerial-style business with an international client list who are based and work all over the world. As such, there will never be a dull moment, and we are looking for someone who is a strong organiser to help keep the ship steady – you will need to be calm and collected with a keen eye for detail, and a natural communicator on the phone, in writing, and in person. 

Responsibilities:

-Handling a high volume of emails and calls, both from clients and buyers  
-Script and book reading on behalf of, alongside Agent/Clients  
-Organising auditions / meetings / client tapings  
-Client submissions via Spotlight and on email  
-Building client material, putting together showreels  
-Ensuring client CV’s are up to date  
-Going to see clients in the theatre/screenings  
-Processing contracts, issuing invoices and keeping track of monies   
-Providing full administrative support to the agent and the office as a whole  
-Speaking with Clients, Casting Directors, Producers, -Directors on a daily basis.  
-Diary management for the office, the agent and the clients - which is often complicated in nature across many different time zones
-Booking international and domestic travel for agent and clients too 
   

Qualities and Skills:  

-Very strong attention to detail and organisational skills
-Being able to work well with other members of the department team   
-Trustworthy and accurate as will be dealing with highly confidential material and client information 
-Outstanding communication skills  
-Can-do attitude   
-A passion for film, television, and theatre  
-A good sense of humour – it helps!
