Assistant to Senior Agent – Actors Department

United Agents LLP (UA) is one of London’s leading talent agencies encompassing the worlds of film, TV, books, theatre and comedy.

We are looking for an experienced full time Assistant to support a Senior Agent within the Actors Department. This is a very busy and successful office, working across different time zones so strong organisational skills and great attention to detail are a must. To be considered for this role we would expect that you will already have worked for a senior agent representing high profile clients for a minimum of three years.

Having a natural and friendly, yet professional communication style is important, as well as having a proactive attitude in order to juggle the demands of a fast-paced office working closely with high-profile talent.

This is a very collaborative office so a team player mentality and a motivation to work hard is key.

 
Responsibilities:

-Handling a high volume of emails and calls, both from clients and buyers  
-Script and book reading on behalf of, alongside Agent/Clients  
-Organising auditions / meetings / client tapings  
-Client submissions via Spotlight and on email  
-Building client material, putting together showreels  
-Ensuring client CV’s are up to date  
-Going to see clients and potential clients in the theatre/screenings  
-Actively seeking potential new clients by attending drama schools and other performances  
-Processing contracts, issuing invoices and keeping track of monies   
-Providing full administrative support to the agent and the office as a whole  
-Speaking with Clients, Casting Directors, Producers, Directors on a daily basis. 
-Diary management for the office, the agent and the clients - which is often complicated in nature across many different time zones
-Booking international and domestic travel for agent and sometimes for clients too 
   
Qualities and Skills:  

-Previous experience working as an Agent’s Assistant across film and TV is essential
-Being able to work well with other members of the department team   
-Trustworthy and accurate as will be dealing with highly confidential material and client information 
-Fantastic communication skills  
-Very strong attention to detail and organisational skills
-Can-do attitude   
-A passion for film, television, and theatre
