Film & TV Department Agent Assistant (Below the Line Talent)

Echo Artists is a dynamic talent agency representing Production Designers, Directors of Photography, Costume Designers, Editors and Hair and Make-Up Designers in Film, Television, Commercials and Music Videos. We are looking for a Film & Television Agent Assistant to join our brilliant team. The right candidate will be someone who has previous experience as an assistant or in a PA role, not necessarily in an agency but the Entertainment Industry is preferred but not essential. We are looking for someone who loves working with people, has excellent communication skills and amazing attention to detail. Someone who is proactive and thinks ahead, is a multi-tasker, can handle pressure in a high paced and busy environment and has a “can do” attitude. It’s important that the candidate has experience managing multiple busy diaries/to do lists and has a positive approach to all tasks in hand.

Film & TV Agent Assistant Responsibilities:
• Inbox management, organising the teams shared inbox for 4 agents.
• Diary and to do list management for 4 busy Agents
• Be responsible for workload within the department and making sure Agents are aware of deadlines and helping prioritise
• Call list management
• Going back to producers and clients every day, managing expectations and responses when agent isn’t able to respond straight way
• General filing and ad hoc tasks
• Setting up meetings when required
• Being the gatekeeper for the department
• Liaising with all other departments to ensure they have the latest film/client information (accounts dept, commercials dept etc)
• Updating various company communication tools (IE, Slack, Trello) with the newest information/correspondence

Further Details about the position:
• To start asap
• The role is currently remote but will be going back/moving to office space in London hopefully by April 2021 (Covid dependent). The applicant must be London based.
• Hours will be 9:30 AM to 6 PM with 1 hour lunch break, however there will be times where hours may be longer than this, some potential weekend work (festivals, evening meetings/screenings)
• Experience of Macs essential along with Word, Outlook and Excel
• £23-28k per annum (depending on experience)
• There is a share of the profits of the company
• 5 weeks of holiday plus public holidays
• Other staff perks are in development (healthcare, gym membership, staff incentive scheme)
