THE ROLE
Clients
Act as first point of contact for all requests/offers of work for Manager’s clients, including ascertaining all information about dates, fees etc.
Discuss offers/requests with Manager and clients.
Administrate clients’ contracts (including, later, negotiating terms).
Invoice on behalf of clients and chase payments.
Keep track of all offers, contracts and payments using the client reporting system.
Make all necessary arrangements for clients to carry out work, including liaising with production teams, organising travel, producing itineraries.
Accompany clients when working.
Liaise with PR and Marketing to update them on clients’ activities. Regularly update clients’ biographies on Avalon website.
Liaise with Promotions department over clients’ live work, including keeping a note of all gigs and payments on the weekly update sheets.
General
Organise diary â be responsible for meetings and update with clients’ events.
Connect phone calls, including conference calls.
Manage message document, keeping a note of calls made/received.
Organise any travel necessary.
Keep Manager’s contacts up to date.
New Talent
Go to comedy clubs/shows to identify new talent.
Branding
Liaising with different brands to discuss suitable clients.
Researching brands and finding suitable contracts.
Establishing new relationships with brands with a view to generating long term deals.
