Echo Artists is a dynamic talent agency representing Production Designers, Directors of Photography, Costume Designers, Editors and Hair and Make-Up Designers in Film, Television, Commercials and Music Videos. We are looking for a Project Tracking and Short Film/Documentary Manager to come and join the team. The right candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in the film and television industry and will thrive under pressure. We are looking for someone who is an extrovert, loves working with people, has excellent communication skills and an amazing attention to detail. Someone who will fight for what they think is right, has an opinion, wants to help nurture and protect our clients, is proactive and thinks ahead, wants to help change careers, has an amazing ability to listen and is patient, creative and loves reading scripts. Someone who wants to work in an incredibly busy role, has brilliant negotiation skills and the ability and passion for the people we represent and the projects we seek to place our clients on.

You could be someone who has worked in the industry at a Film Festival, or a film critic, or in another agency as an Assistant but in a different department but know that you want to be at the hub of production and great projects that are happening. You could be an experienced Production Assistant/Production Manager looking for a new challenge and the chance to grow within a new and exciting Agency.

Responsibilities include:
• Tracking projects, production companies and works in development or about to shoot.
• Submitting Clients for shorts, documentaries, television programmes, some features.
• Negotiating Deals.
• Finding new talent.
• Communicating and keeping in touch with clients regularly and being responsible and active in client’s career strategies.
• Communicating and setting up meetings with Producers and Production Companies regularly to make sure the Company and the clients are aware of what projects are happening and have happened.
• Reading scripts and making decisions about whether the project would be good for the client’s career.
• Curating careers.
• Watching client work and keeping up to date with the industry output.
• Working with the other agents in the team to assist with their needs as may be required.
• Being current on projects in development.
• Administration to action all of the above.

• The role is based in the Echo Office in De Beauvoir Block, (nearest tube Haggerston)
• Hours will be 9:30 AM to 6 PM with 1 hour lunch break, however there will be times where hours may be longer than this, some potential weekend work (at festivals) and some evening meetings/screenings
• Experience of Macs essential along with Word, Outlook and Excel
• Salary to be discussed based on experience
• Some travel to film festivals required (Cannes, Camerimage)
• There is a share of the profits of the company
• 5 weeks of holiday plus public holidays
