Following my email of May 19th, Bad Wolf did concede in the end and agreed to payment in full where there was termination without cause.
In truth, it took an agency-wide effort in the end, involving all Directors’ agents at United Agents and a letter from our Head of Legal Affairs, along with several conversations with the Executive Producer.
Feels like we are still winning these battles, generally-speaking, but companies are getting more bullish about trying to impose these unreasonable termination clauses.
