Hello D&D members,
I am information gathering today. A PMA member has been in touch regarding a clients BBC pension payments for the last 2 years (since the BBC switched schemes around July 2015). He has not been receiving any contributions into the new scheme even though the BBC have been deducting them.
On chasing the BBC he was told [in summary] that the problem was to do with software interface – which is still not fixed.
I’m trying to find out how far-reaching this problem is. If you have any clients on the BBC Writers Pension scheme I’d be grateful if you could check and let me know if you have similar problems? In this case the client has had no access to his money and has missed out on two years growth in his pension savings.
