Hi,
As you may know, Equity currently host a weekly forum about commercials for agents and CDs. This morning there was talk about last minute cancellations. For example: “Recently artists have cancelled on the morning of the casting even though the agent confirmed the night before.”
Fully understanding this is hard for agents too, CDs ask if we would send this gentle reminder to:
– please encourage your clients to keep you up to date with their current circumstances during covid.
– please try and avoid suggesting clients who are not available.
The CDs were keen to point out that they understand there are many reasons for the cancellations – especially at the moment.
The overarching message is let’s try and help each other!
