Im aware that several members (including us) are being offered CBBC contracts for which the Initial Fee includes a terrestrial TX, TX periods on a BBC Digital Channel, Online Rights and Interactive Rights.

Having explored this with Equity, they have confirmed with me this morning that no side deal has been done with the BBC or the Childrens Department which would allow this initial fee structure to be loaded with these additional uses.
ÃÂ
The agreement states that the fee buys the 1st UK Transmission only and that any other uses should be paid for separately.
