Please could anyone advise me if any other agency has been asked by the BBC to be the supplier of Chaperones for any child actors working on BBC projects and due to this sign and fill in forms to be set up as an ââ¬ËExternal Vendorââ¬â¢.
The BBC are insisting that the ââ¬ËChaperoneââ¬â¢ (not a registered Chaperone but the childââ¬â¢s parent) will not be paid until we act as the Chaperoneââ¬â¢s employer. The BBC have said this is due to tax implications at their end.
Anyone else facing something similar?
