Hi everyone,
As you know this group formed this year. A quick recap – their purpose was to look a the issue of students leaving drama schools but being unavailable for work due to commitments made through their schools. Following a presentation at an Artists’ meeting the next step will be to discuss how to approach separate colleges as reps of the PMA to discuss mutually agreeable working practices for the future.
I’m canvassing option – if you have a mo please could you answer the following three questions? Your answers will be treated in confidence.
1. Are there MT/dance colleges whose shows/showcases you choose not to attend because their good students are rarely available until a year after graduation?
2. If yes, which schools do you find problematic?
3. Any additional comments?
