We met with Equity on Wednesday morning to discuss the proposed changes to the way regular cast are to be engaged. The meeting was well attended with 20+ agencies represented.
We highlighted a number of concerns and also suggested a couple of alternative proposals. However we all felt we needed much more information from the BBC in terms of how they plan to calculate their proposed weekly fee. We have requested that Equity gather this information on our behalf before we meet again.
