Wanted to update you on my experience on this project. My client was on a dancer contract so not sure if everyone has had the same experience but production were refusing to pay holiday pay for rehearsal days, insisting they pay only for days on camera. This is incorrect, holiday pay is due on all rehearsal days too. As we have to invoice please do as I am not sure that production will send it along voluntarily, Equity fully support my stance on this. I also queried the rather arbitrary decision to pay per diems only on the travel days when leaving not travelling to location, this has been amended and agreed by production and so you may need to amend your invoices. I know it doesn’t add up to a large sum but our clients have worked for it!
