Following yesterday’s Artist Meeting discussion regarding HMRC’s demand for all agents to report to them the earnings that they receive on behalf of their clients – I have following advice from Fisher Phillips (accountants for the PMA):
The PMA should advise individual agents/agencies that they should inform their clients that this is a legislative requirement so all their clients are aware that this information has be given to HMRC on an annual basis.
