Dear PMA Members,
Just to make you aware, we were informed last night by a production company with regards to a client flying to New York to start on a television show, that SAG and the affiliated Unions do not accept Actors on an Astra Zeneca vaccine as the Astra Zeneca vaccine was not approved by the guilds/unions.
According to SAG, the definition of fully vaccinated as of 19th July 2021 indicates the waiting period of 14 days following a 2nd shot of Pfizer / Moderna and 14 days following a single shot of the J&J vaccine.
We will be writing to Equity today to ask them to get clarification from SAG as most of our clients over the age of 50 who have had their vaccines have received Astra Zeneca in the UK and will also be looking to Equity to lobby SAG with regards to this matter.
If the above is true, I would urge all PMA members to contact Equity to ask the same.
