PMA Diversity Group – Artist and D&D Sector

Hi D&D Members,,
The Black Lives Matter movement has elicited a powerful response in the Artists’ Sector of the PMA. We held a zoom meeting for members to provide a space for agents to talk about the concerns now being voiced by the their black clients.

From this meeting a brilliant group of non-white agents, has formed a PMA Diversity Working Group. We are keen to open this discussion with the writers and directors side of the PMA. Discussion often falters on the artists’ side when we start talking about roles available.

If you are interested in being involved please send me an email – we can start with a zoom discussion to share views. Our hope is that this might lead to stronger writer-artist connection across the PMA..

I believe there is a unique opportunity right now to work together and to use our extraordinary network to change our industry for the better. Please let me know you’d like to be involved.
