Following a few queries today, I’ve spoken with John Barclay at Equity about this, he says:
– I can find nothing that indicates that SAG-AFTRA have taken a unilateral position to veto the AZ vaccine in the US and certainly not in the UK. I have looked at the Guilds return to work agreement and they have confirmed that vaccines approved and authorised by the Food and Drinks Agency/Administration (FDA) will be used. I am unaware that the FDA has put the AZ vaccine on any list of vaccines not to be used in the US. –
