The letter which Equity has sent to its members lays out the negotiation process and what has been achieved.
Headlines areâ¦
Increases of 9% across 4 years on minimum salaries
Increases of 31% in Leading role understudy payments and 29% for supporting roles across 4 years
Plus lots of other improvements to swing and dance captain rates, EPK payments
As agents we know there is still a long way to go to get some rates to where they really should be but this gives us an improved starting position for negotiations.
Equity have asked that agents read the letter and the document detailing changes to clauses and report back to them any queries, causes for concern eg where a clause could be misinterpreted or abused.
