Dear PMA agents
I understand that the PMA agents representing those on the Sunny Afternoon cast album have instructed their clients not to sign the royalty breakdown sheet as they do not have the information about the royalty split.
Just to let you know that I have made it clear to the artists that under the contracts you have with your clients they will almost certainly have to pay commission to you on the cast album royalties and that BECS will take no administration fee for members of Equity but 8% for those that are not.
Would any agent who represents someone on the cast album contact me by e-mail and I will send out all the information in connection with the cast album, which I am more than happy to do.
I hope that all PMA agents know that I am happy to be contacted by them about any West End matter and certainly about any cast albums that are being arranged. Indeed one agent contacted me in advance.
