Hi all,
We received a strange email this morning from a writer named Daniel Staley-Myers, asking for information about a child we represent. A quick Google reveals that he’s a bit of a Walter Mitty type with no professional credits, and a history of bothering young performers, so I politely declined, and warned our client.
However what concerned me is that in his tetchy reply, he mentioned something which makes me think that he’s the same person who somehow managed to track down the same client’s home address while she was working in theatre a few years ago, and send strange fan mail.
I can’t prove this, but I wanted to get his name out there so that fellow agents are aware!
