ZOOM meetings this month – diary dates

Hi Artists’ Members,
A couple of dates for your diaries this month:

* Wednesday September 16th, 2pm – DIVERSITY MEETING*

At a previous meeting in response to Black Lives Matter a small PMA working group volunteered to pull together thoughts about how we can work collectively and individually towards a more fair and diverse industry. This is the first follow-up meeting, led by the group, introducing a set of protocols/guidelines for agencies and inviting discussion, ideas and action.

*Wednesday September 23rd, 2pm – COMMERCIALS WEBINAR*

The Commercials Working Party has been liaising with Equity, the CDA and the CDG during the pandemic. Now that commercial shoots seem to be up and running here and abroad, this webinar is to discuss common practice, the issues we’ve been facing both positive and negative, and how we work together as PMA members to ensure clients are safe whilst shooting, and appropriately compensated.

The working group has invited Tim Gale, Equity to join this panel. Topics will include health and safety on set and at castings, contract clauses surrounding Covid, fees and working hours and open up the floor to a Q+A at the end.

Thank you to members of both groups for all the work they have been doing on behalf of our PMA agent community.
