JUNIOR ASSISTANT

This role would suit a graduate with a passion and qualification in TV/Theatre/Film/Books etc. and who is looking to enter the industry.

This is an entry level role for a junior resource to be developed into a Talent Assistant role within the TAP Talent team working under two Agents.

– Handle incoming enquiries and re-direct calls to the appropriate person within the team
– Manage fan mail and distributing on to clients
– Manage outgoing post and make use of the franking machine
– Arrange Courier if required
– Assist in receiving and signing for deliveries to the office
– Assist in managing all the subscriptions / email and password updates and access for users within the team
– Diary management
– Updates and suggestions on Spotlight breakdowns
– Good telephone manner for all client liaisons
– Assist in booking restaurants etc. for client/producer lunches and receiving confirmations
– Capture data into Tagmin where required, logging information for clients’ meetings/ self-tapes, updating existing information on clients and industry contacts, creating new entries as needed
– Editing video materials – whether this be self-tapes (auditions), showreels or bespoke reels
– Assist in reading scripts and writing script breakdowns including a synopsis, character descriptions and thoughts
– Generate team Twitter account information (includes researching announcements on Deadline, finding out which clients are involved and putting together Tweets on behalf of the Agents / Associates
