Talent Agency Assistant (Maternity Cover)

MAT LEAVE TALENT AGENCY ASSISTANT

Job Purpose:

The business has an urgent requirement for an experienced Talent Assistant with previous industry experience, to join an established team and provide the required support over a minimum 6-month maternity leave cover period. The full period will need to be committed to with an estimated START DATE in MAY 2022.

The Talent Assistant will report directly into a Senior Talent Agent and the position requires the person to have a strong ability to multi-task, with excellent attention to detail, good communication skills both written and verbal, and a sense of urgency when attending to various matters. At the same time a high level of discretion in maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Your keen interest in reading, with some literary knowledge and a passion for TV, Film and Theatre is necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:
• Script-reading and breakdowns
• Proficient use of Tagmin including Tagmin admin, i.e. ensuring all jobs, dates and info is entered correctly
• Sourcing showreel material and clipping client material
• Client availabilities and meetings
• Organizing and sending out meeting requests
• Uploading tapes to Tagmin and doing send outs to casting directors
• Invoicing and liaising with accounts, including regular unpaid reports – chasing outstanding money for clients
• Diary management
• Organizing press nights and theatre invites
• Writing push emails
• Chasing feedback for clients
• Breakdowns – proficient use of Spotlight essential
• Being across client schedules, organizing travel where applicable
• Monthly expenses for Agent
• Updating biogs, CV’s and showreels
• Starter forms
• Sending out new client forms
• Adding new clients to Tagmin/Website
• Sending out CAN/Contracts via Hello sign
• Social media updates and responses i.e Twitter and Instagram
• Organizing ADR
• Managing Fan mail
• Handling incoming press/requests
• Organising tickets for drama school shows
• Providing holiday cover when the Agent is away
• Experience in handling short films, workshops, audio drama (such as radio and video games) and regional theatre is advantageous.

Qualification/Experience
This role requires a candidate with a minimum of 3 years previous experience as an assistant in a Talent Agency.
